Engine & Mechanical Systems

-Annual Engine, Drivetrain, and Generator Service: Similar to car servicing, this involves changing oil, filters (oil, fuel, air), oil sample analysis, inspecting / replacing belts, hoses, and transmissions.

-Fuel System Maintenance: Draining fuel tanks (If needed), cleaning out sediment, replacing fuel filters, and checking for saltwater intrusion and corrosion.

-Exhaust and Air Intake: Monitoring smoke discharge, examining air filters, and ensuring proper ventilation.

-Propeller and Shaft Inspection: Checking for dings, pitting, distortion, and ensuring proper lubrication.

-Seacock Inspection and Lubrication: Vital for preventing water intrusion.

-Bilge Cleaning and Pump Inspection: Ensuring the bilge is clean and dry and that bilge pumps are functioning correctly.
